Senior IT Business Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned IT Business Analyst to join our on-site team in Munich, collaborating with a prominent global leader in financial services and insurance. This role involves bridging business stakeholders with IT teams to analyze, design, and deploy solutions within a complex enterprise framework. Projects include system integration, process enhancement, and IT-led transformation initiatives across essential business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business processes and requirements within intricate IT environments.
• Serve as the intermediary between business units and IT project teams.
• Convert business demands into detailed functional and technical documents.
• Assist in the deployment of IT solutions, including testing, validation, and launch activities.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on integration and data flow challenges.
• Identify opportunities to optimize current systems and workflows.
• Conduct workshops and maintain transparent communication among stakeholders.
• Support structured project management within a regulated financial context.

Candidate Profile

• Between 3 and 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT-focused environments.
• Proven expertise in requirements gathering and process analysis.
• Background in enterprise system management or complex IT architectures.
• Experience or knowledge of financial services, insurance, or banking sectors is highly desirable.
• Exposure to consulting or client-facing engagements is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Agile or blended project delivery methods.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Fluency in both English and German is mandatory.
