Senior Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities

• Create, validate, and deploy machine learning and statistical models pivotal to business operations.
• Develop both supervised and unsupervised models, covering regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning networks.
• Design predictive analytics tools targeting customer behavior, risk assessment, demand forecasting, fraud detection, recommendations, and operational efficiency.
• Implement anomaly detection systems to recognize irregularities such as fraud, operational inconsistencies, or system errors.
• Construct time-series forecasting models for sales, inventory management, demand, and operational planning.
• Utilize AI and Generative AI technologies including Large Language Models, prompt engineering, and automation to develop innovative solutions.

• Handle large volumes of structured and unstructured data through exploratory analysis, cleaning, transformation, and feature extraction.
• Create scalable data pipelines and reusable machine learning workflows.
• Enhance model effectiveness using hyperparameter tuning and evaluation methods.

• Coordinate with engineering teams to implement ML models in production environments.
• Track and manage model performance, including drift monitoring and retraining approaches.
• Maintain model version control, track experiments, and automate workflows for efficiency.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate challenges into data-driven analytical solutions.
• Communicate results and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Engage with cross-functional teams including data engineers, product managers, business analysts, and software developers to ensure project success.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must possess a minimum of one year of professional experience to be considered for this role.

Additional Information

This position is based onsite in Pune with opportunities also available in Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Bangalore. The role offers a five-day workweek and requires immediate joining availability.
