Job Overview
This is a Senior Business Analyst role within the payments domain, demanding comprehensive knowledge and experience. Candidates should have between 7 and 20 years of relevant professional experience.
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements stemming from change requests related to securities such as Equities and Mutual Funds.
- Engage in detailed discussions and collaborations with banking clients.
- Design and document payment-related solutions and system specifications.
- Create test cases and perform testing to ensure solution quality and effectiveness.
Required Skills and Experience
- Thorough understanding of payments processing, both domestic and international clearing mechanisms, especially within the interbank payments framework. This includes familiarity with RTGS, NEFT, IMPS, SWIFT, SEPA, CHIPS, FEDWIRE, BACS, NACH, NACHA, FPS, CHAPS, SIC, CBPR+, among others.
- Expertise in the ISO 20022 payments messaging standards is essential.
- Experience with diverse payment schemes and products like Real Time Payments, Credit Transfers, Bill Payments, Direct Debits.
- Proven ability to interact with multiple stakeholders, gathering and consolidating business requirements effectively.
- Skilled in preparing comprehensive business requirements documents as well as detailed solution specifications.
- Prior experience working within banks or with payments processing products.
