Delaware North Gaming invites applications for a full-time Uniformed Security Officer role at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin. This position involves overseeing various areas within the casino and hotel premises to maintain safety and deliver excellent guest service. Located on Darwin's picturesque beachfront, Mindil Beach Casino Resort is the premier entertainment and leisure destination in the Northern Territory. The resort boasts over 600 gaming machines, numerous table games, acclaimed dining options including authentic Italian and contemporary Australian cuisine, a day spa, infinity pool, 152 luxury accommodation units, and versatile event spaces for weddings and conferences. Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring casino and hotel areas and preparing reports on security incidents, hazards, and irregular activities.
- Executing duties in strict compliance with relevant Federal and Territory legislation.
- Controlling entry to prevent unauthorized access to the premises.
- Administering First Aid support as needed.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a valid Security or Crowd Control License issued by the Northern Territory Government.
- Certificates in First Aid, CPR, Responsible Service of Alcohol, and Responsible Service of Gambling.
- Holding a Casino Operative’s License or demonstrating willingness to obtain one.
