SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Consultant

Overview

Cerebra is seeking a skilled SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) professional with a strong background in SAP S/4HANA and extensive expertise in sales processes within the maritime and logistics sectors. The successful candidate will bring deep functional knowledge, integration experience, and the ability to manage complex business requirements effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Expertly configure and manage SAP SD modules, including order-to-cash (OTC) processes, pricing, billing, and contracts.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of SD integration with Materials Management (MM) and Financial Accounting (FI) modules.
• Lead design and implementation of voyage-related business solutions, such as marine contract management, voyage creation, execution, and freight settlement.
• Manage vessel nomination processes and demurrage calculations effectively within SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP FI, TSW, MM, and other third-party logistics systems.
• Provide troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex system issues in enterprise software settings.
• Deliver clear communication and documentation to support stakeholder interactions and project leadership.
• Apply SAP Fiori applications tailored for maritime operations.
• Utilize knowledge of business process flows related to sales and distribution to enhance system functionality.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Any Graduate).
• Over 8 years of professional experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) consultancy.
• Solid functional expertise in SAP SD configuration and implementation, particularly in pricing, contracts, billing, and settlement.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA sales modules and basic system architecture.
• Experience with IDoc structures and interfaces for data exchange.
• Knowledge of maritime and logistics processes, including charter party contracts, voyage scheduling, freight contracts, laytime calculations, and cargo scheduling.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
• Proficient analytical skills to diagnose technical and business-related issues.
• Good communication skills for documentation and cross-team collaboration.

Additional Information

The candidate must have a minimum of 8 years working experience specifically with SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) modules and be capable of supporting or implementing SAP S/4HANA solutions.
