Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Translate business needs into SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 solutions, then design, build, and deploy those applications.
• Create intuitive, responsive web interfaces using SAPUI5 together with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and XML.
• Extend and tailor SAP Fiori apps for SAP S/4HANA-based setups.
• Set up and maintain the SAP Fiori Launchpad, including catalogs, groups, and role assignments.
• Develop OData services and consume them to connect frontend and backend components effectively.
• Partner with functional teams, end users, and technical stakeholders to shape and deliver the solution.
• Connect Fiori applications with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP BTP environments.
• Use CDS Views and Fiori Elements to boost performance and improve the overall user experience.
• Identify, investigate, and fix issues across development, testing, and production stages.
• Carry out unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT cycles.
• Improve performance while following SAP coding standards and recommended practices.
• Contribute to upgrades, migration efforts, and SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
• Assist with deployment tasks and provide support after go-live.
• Prepare and update technical documentation, design notes, and development guidelines.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum delivery model and collaborate closely with the team.
