Job description

Overview

The Salon Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily functions of the salon, guiding the staff, upholding exemplary service standards, and assuring client satisfaction while driving sales and profitability goals.

Key Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day salon operations ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Lead, train, and inspire hairstylists, beauticians, therapists, and support personnel.
  • Organize employee schedules and manage attendance records.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and address client issues promptly.
  • Maintain salon cleanliness, hygiene, and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Manage appointment bookings and regulate client traffic within the salon.
  • Monitor sales metrics and consistently meet monthly revenue objectives.
  • Supervise inventory control for beauty products, tools, and salon essentials.
  • Coordinate product displays and actively promote retail items to customers.
  • Compile business performance reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Handle recruitment, staff induction, and evaluate employee performance regularly.
  • Design and implement promotional activities and loyalty programs.
  • Ensure strict compliance with company policies and operational procedures.

Required Expertise

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Hospitality, Beauty Management, or related disciplines is preferred.
  • Between 2 to 5 years of experience managing salons, spas, or retail outlets.
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership and achieving sales targets.
