Work Location and Schedule
This role is based remotely within the United States, with hybrid options for those residing within 50 miles of Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC. Hybrid employees work approximately 60% of the week onsite and the remainder remotely. Candidates living over 50 miles away will work fully from home but may occasionally be requested to visit the office with prior notice.

Role Expectations
- Conduct full-cycle recruiting specifically targeting independent contractor insurance sales agents and related sales roles.
- Collaborate closely with sales leadership to understand staffing plans and geographic requirements.
- Create and implement strategic recruiting approaches aimed at attracting high-quality sales candidates.
- Develop and manage talent pipelines utilizing various sourcing methods including networking, digital platforms, referrals, and industry events.
- Perform candidate screening, interviewing, and assessments to ensure fit and qualifications.
- Guide candidates through hiring, contracting, and onboarding processes ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain ongoing communication with both candidates and leadership to ensure alignment with recruitment goals.
- Analyze recruitment metrics and data to optimize hiring strategies and outcomes.
- Supply sales teams with market and competitive insights for talent acquisition.
- Support recruitment initiatives such as local events, career fairs, and brand promotions.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and organizational policies in collaboration with HR and business partners.
- Build and sustain active talent communities within assigned regions to support future hiring needs.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational and professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience including at least 3 years in recruitment roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Sales, or related disciplines.
- Previous recruiting experience focused on insurance agents, sales professionals, or financial services independent contractors.
- Experience recruiting in the insurance sector.
Skills and Tools
- Knowledge of full recruiting lifecycle, sourcing methods, and candidate evaluation.
- Experience with recruiting commission-based or independent contractor sales talent.
- Proficiency using applicant tracking systems (ATS), customer relationship management (CRM) software, and other recruitment technologies.
- Ability to interpret recruiting data and metrics for decision-making.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly organized with ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Understanding of employment laws and recruiting compliance standards.
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications.
Travel and Compensation
Travel is up to 25% of the time as required. The salary band for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually. Offers depend on various factors including experience, education, certifications, and geographic location.
