Sales & Service Engineer

About the Role

The position involves providing on-site after-sales support for PhonePe payment devices including QR codes, Soundbox, and POS terminals. The engineer will be responsible for installation, replacement, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure smooth functioning of these payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct visits to merchants to offer comprehensive after-sales service for payment devices.
• Perform installation, replacement, and troubleshooting of QR codes, Soundbox, and POS devices.
• Address and resolve queries raised by merchants promptly to enhance satisfaction.
• Encourage merchant activation and promote increased usage of devices.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
• Achieve daily targets for service visits and meet monthly productivity goals.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess from 6 months up to 2 years of experience in field service or customer support roles, preferably within the fintech or payments industry.
• Basic familiarity with QR code payment systems, Soundbox, or POS devices is beneficial.
• Exhibit strong communication abilities along with effective problem-solving skills.
• Be willing and able to travel locally to conduct merchant visits.

Compensation

The monthly salary ranges between ₹15,000 and ₹30,000, with an expected realistic take-home of ₹20,000 to ₹25,000 plus incentives.
