Fudy provides integrated solutions covering the full spectrum: Design, Prototyping, Qualification, Production, Assembly, and Logistics. Sustainability is central to its operations, incorporating FSC fiber solutions, molded pulp, bio-based plastic blends, and plastic-free lamination.
The Opportunity
As Fudy expands its presence within Europe, it seeks a motivated Sales / Business Development Representative based remotely within Europe. The role focuses on identifying and securing new customers across the region. The individual will act as the regional ambassador, responsible for researching prospects, cultivating partnerships with brand owners and OEM/ODM manufacturers, and converting new leads into long-term packaging contracts. This role demands a proactive hunter spirit, skilled in initiating engagements and progressively building a robust sales pipeline from inception.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify new business opportunities with brand owners and OEM/ODM manufacturers throughout European markets.
- Generate and qualify leads through outbound prospecting, networking, participation in trade shows, and other industry events.
- Manage the entire sales process from initial contact, discovery of client needs, to solution presentation, price quotation, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Understand each prospect’s packaging challenges and propose Fudy’s design, manufacturing, and sustainability capabilities as customized solutions.
- Serve as liaison between European clients and Fudy’s design centers and manufacturing facilities in Asia and North America.
- Maintain a well-organized sales pipeline and deliver accurate sales forecasting.
- Represent Fudy at trade fairs, exhibitions, and customer meetings across European markets.
- Collect and analyze market intelligence on European packaging trends, relevant sustainability regulations, and competitors to refine strategy.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams including design, engineering, and account management to ensure smooth transition from sale to delivery.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably within packaging, printing, manufacturing, or related industrial or consumer sectors.
- Proven ability to identify and acquire new customers, with a focus on new-account acquisition rather than solely managing existing clients.
- Exceptional prospecting, networking, and consultative selling skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels confidently.
- Strong commercial awareness and skill in handling quotations, negotiations, and deal structuring across international supply chains.
- Fluent English proficiency; knowledge of additional European languages such as German or French is a significant advantage.
- Willingness and capacity to travel throughout Europe regularly.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote role, while effectively coordinating with global teams across multiple time zones.
- Passion for sustainable packaging, with the ability to credibly discuss eco-friendly materials and innovative design approaches.
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing network of contacts within European brand owners or OEM/ODM manufacturing circles.
- Familiarity with various packaging materials, including rigid boxes, corrugated cardboard, molded fiber/pulp, labels, and sustainable alternatives.
- Experience in sales within electronics, retail & consumer goods, or luxury market sectors.
