Job Responsibilities
- Operate independently to resolve roadside vehicle issues across various locations and conditions.
- Effectively manage your working hours, starting and finishing your shifts from your own driveway with pay covering your travel time in your van.
- Apply your technical abilities and strong communication skills to ensure a positive repair and customer service experience.
- Tackle a wide range of mechanical and technical problems promptly and calmly at roadside.
Mandatory Qualifications and Skills
- Hold an NVQ3 or equivalent certification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, complemented by appropriate hands-on experience.
- Possess a full category B driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
- Demonstrate aptitude and willingness to learn and use new technologies provided by the company.
- Exhibit flexibility to work various shift patterns including evenings, weekends, and public holidays to meet customer needs at all times.
Work Schedule and Earnings
Shifts generally average a 40-hour week, with multiple shift pattern options allowing you to select a schedule that best fits your lifestyle. Your annual rest days and length of shifts will depend on your chosen pattern. Year one guaranteed earnings start at £42,275 including location allowances, with on-target earnings potentially reaching up to £60,000 for top performers.
