Retail Sales Executive

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Retail Sales Executive to join our team at Gamut HR Solutions in Hyderabad. The role involves actively engaging customers, understanding their needs, and recommending apparel and jewellery products. You will be responsible for product knowledge dissemination, billing operations, maintaining the visual appeal of displays, and achieving set sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and comprehend their requirements to suggest suitable apparel and jewellery collections.
• Educate customers about fabric types, designs, pricing, ongoing offers, and features of gold, silver, and diamond jewellery.
• Manage billing operations, including handling cash, UPI transactions, and POS systems.
• Ensure appealing product displays adhering to visual merchandising standards and organize stock properly.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets effectively.
• Address customer queries and complaints to ensure a pleasant and satisfactory shopping environment.
• Assist with stock verification, replenishment activities, and measures to prevent inventory loss.
• Conduct follow-up calls with existing clients informing them about new arrivals, promotional offers, and discounts.

Essential Skills and Requirements

• 1 to 4 years of experience in retail sectors such as apparel, jewellery, fashion retail, or multi-brand outlets.
• Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and Telugu.
• Presentable personality with excellent grooming and a customer-centric approach.
• Proven skills in sales closing, negotiation, and a target-driven attitude.
• Basic proficiency with computers, including billing software and MS Office applications.
• Preference for candidates possessing an existing customer base within the apparel or jewellery industry.
