Role Overview

The Assistant Manager supports both operational efficiency and sales excellence, ensuring outstanding experiences for customers and employees. This role involves breaking down obstacles and fostering meaningful relationships through curiosity and problem-solving to boost business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coach staff to deliver superior customer service, engage customers with personalized product and service guidance, manage escalated issues, and cultivate long-term relationships especially with business clients.
• Encourage a motivated and recognition-driven team environment that promotes sales partnerships and enables sales associates to perform at their best; utilize sales data and metrics to implement action plans and meet targets.
• Recruit, onboard, train, develop, and engage team members, offering consistent coaching and feedback to drive continuous improvement and career growth; oversee performance evaluations and career planning.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, asset protection, privacy policies, corporate procedures; handle inventory, merchandising, and uphold brand standards.
• Maintain effective daily team communication to guarantee uniform application of sales initiatives and customer engagement tools.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of retail management experience with direct responsibility for meeting sales and service goals.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams focused on customer satisfaction and sales performance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that inspire and motivate people.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced setting, adept at prioritizing, organizing, and managing multiple tasks.
