Role Overview

As a Retail Assistant at Repco, your primary responsibility is to ensure every customer enjoys a positive in-store experience from greeting them at the door to guiding them through our automotive product range, suggesting additional items where appropriate, and efficiently completing sales at the register.

Key Duties

• Maintain a constant focus on safety for yourself, colleagues, and customers.
• Deliver authentic customer service creating memorable interactions.
• Utilize your automotive knowledge and customer service skills to support strong sales results.
• Keep the showroom tidy and visually appealing through excellent merchandising.
• Handle stock processes including receiving, dispatching, and storing products.
• Contribute positively as a cooperative, enthusiastic team member fostering a supportive culture.
• Perform physical tasks such as safe lifting, bending, and climbing as required.

Candidate Profile and Experience

We are searching for individuals who have a sincere interest or background in the automotive sector. Experience in automotive retail, parts distribution, mechanical workshops, or related areas is highly preferred. You must be confident interacting with diverse customers within a retail or sales context and demonstrate strong communication skills, including a courteous phone manner. A team-oriented mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude is essential. While product training is provided, having personal enthusiasm or knowledge of automotive topics is a distinct advantage.

Work Schedule

The position involves working Tuesday to Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 37.5 hours weekly.
