The client is a fully remote organization working in administrative support, with a focus on running virtual front desk services efficiently. Its aim is to keep communication and day-to-day administrative work running smoothly by coordinating remotely and managing inquiries and schedules in a professional way.
Role overview
The Remote Front Desk Assistant is the main contact for incoming communication and administrative coordination. This position helps create a smooth client experience by responding promptly, keeping calendars organized, and supporting daily operations from a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and other correspondence as the first point of contact.
- Arrange appointments, meetings, and events while keeping calendars accurate and up to date.
- Share correct information with clients and route inquiries to the right team member when needed.
- Carry out routine administrative work such as data entry, document handling, file organization, and report preparation.
- Support clients with courteous, professional customer service.
- Set up and coordinate virtual meetings, including technical and logistical arrangements.
- Protect confidentiality and maintain a professional tone in all communications.
Requirements
- Prior experience in front desk, administrative support, or another client-facing role.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
- Good organization skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office Suite and standard office applications.
- Ability to work independently and stay disciplined in a remote setup.
- A quiet home workspace and dependable high-speed internet connection.
- Experience in fully remote work is preferred.
- Familiarity with Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom is preferred.
- Experience using CRM platforms or online scheduling tools is preferred.
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this role is USD 18 to 24 per hour.
