Role Overview

As a Regulatory Response Analyst on the Trust & Safety team, you will lead case management for significant global regulatory incidents impacting platform safety. Collaborating closely with Risk Containment and Regional Safety teams, your role is critical in mitigating high-risk events promptly and thoroughly. Exposure to distressing content is a possibility in this role due to the nature of escalations and projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine and address various incident reports through multiple channels, ensuring timely responses to regulatory concerns, safety issues, or emerging community challenges that might harm users.
• Work alongside global cross-functional teams such as Public Policy, Legal, Product, and Engineering to manage crises and contain risks effectively.
• Analyze incident data and trends to recommend improvements in processes, policies, and tooling that enhance incident handling.
• Engage with stakeholders using data insights to convert frontline signals into enhancements in product, policy, and detection mechanisms.
• Perform root cause analysis and incorporate lessons learned into policies and tools to prevent future occurrences.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of experience in high-paced environments, ideally within Trust & Safety operations, incident or crisis management.
• Fluency in Malay and English, with strong familiarity of the Southeast Asia region to effectively interact with local and international teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills capable of thriving under fast-paced conditions.
• Proven project management capability, driving initiatives from start to finish.
• Flexibility to work global hours, including some weekends on a rotational basis.
• Understanding of cultural nuances and regional variations in harmful content definitions and enforcement methods.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong quantitative and data-driven analytical abilities.
• Experience in technology startups or digital platforms.
• Knowledge of trust and safety technology policies along with international legal and regulatory frameworks on online safety and harm reduction.
