Role Overview
The Regulatory Reporting Officer will be part of Apex Risk Technologies (ART), a dynamic fintech division within Apex Group delivering advanced risk compliance and financial reporting solutions for clients such as alternative investment funds, banks, and management companies. Located in Limerick, Ireland, this role involves collaboration with portfolio managers, risk managers, and analysts to onboard funds into RiskMonitor®, generate regulatory reports under UCITS and AIFMD frameworks, maintain accounts, and coordinate with international technology and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, coordinate, and review UCITS and PRIIP Key Investor Information documents including risk indicators and monthly performance analysis.
- Compile and validate quarterly and annual AIF and AIFMD regulatory returns according to ESMA and FCA mandates (e.g., Annex IV reporting).
- Develop investor Monthly Factsheets for investment funds.
- Manage preparation and review of European PRIIP (EPT) and MIFID templates (EMT).
- Coordinate preparation and validation of European ESG templates (EET) aligned with SFDR and updated SFDR 2.0 regulations.
- Prepare additional regulatory reports as required by Luxembourg (CSSF), Ireland (CBI), and UK (FCA) authorities.
- Engage with clients and service providers to resolve any reported issues operationally.
- Work closely with ART clients’ promoters to ensure compliance with UCITS VI, MIFID, KIID, AIFMD 2.0, and corporate governance standards.
- Stay informed on new regulatory changes and assist in interpreting their impact on funds and investors.
- Participate actively in periodic service review meetings and respond to ad hoc client inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date supporting procedures for regulatory reporting tasks.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- Master’s degree (MSc) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Extensive knowledge of European regulated investment products, including UCITS and AIFMD requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in regulatory reporting, financial reporting, or auditing environments.
- Excellent communication, analytical reasoning, and critical thinking capabilities.
- Strong initiative with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently while meeting tight deadlines.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
