Role Summary
The Recruitment Specialist will lead the talent acquisition efforts for the newly opened Mohali office. This pivotal role involves building the foundational team in India, collaborating closely with Canadian leadership to align local hiring with the company culture and vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire recruitment process across diverse roles including digital marketing, content creation, and technical positions.
- Develop strategic sourcing channels utilizing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, regional job portals, and professional networks to cultivate a strong candidate pool.
- Represent IMARKIT MEDIA’s brand in India, communicating the company's Canadian heritage and vision to potential candidates.
- Design and improve interviewing and onboarding procedures to ensure efficiency and uphold the company's professional standards.
- Provide valuable insights about the local talent market including compensation trends and resource availability to support the organizational growth strategy.
Qualifications and Requirements
- At least 4 years of recruitment experience within the Indian Media, Marketing, or Technology sectors.
- Established professional network particularly within the Punjab, Chandigarh, and Mohali regions.
- Excellent English communication skills to effectively liaise between Canadian headquarters and local team members.
- Proven capability to recruit concurrently for multiple roles in fast-paced startup or expansion environments.
