Job description

Overview

Join a dedicated team actively contributing to community wellbeing across New South Wales by providing compassionate support to individuals facing mental health challenges. This role focuses on empowering participants to achieve their personal recovery goals and foster greater independence through community-based assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist participants in setting and progressing toward individualized recovery objectives.
  • Deliver practical, strengths-focused support that enhances independence and overall wellbeing.
  • Encourage meaningful connections with family, community members, and natural support networks.
  • Maintain comprehensive recovery plans, assessments, and accurate program documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow team members and external stakeholders to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
  • Travel within the region as needed to meet participant support requirements.

Required Qualifications and Checks

  • Completion of or active enrollment in Certificate IV in Mental Health, Peer Work, or Community Services.
  • Provision of 100 points of identification and proof of eligibility to work in Australia.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's Licence.
  • Current National Police Check; international police check if applicable.
  • Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check and NDIS Orientation Modules completion.
