Role Overview
As a fully trained RAF Cabin Crew member, you will be crucial in ensuring passengers aboard the 10 Squadron or 101 Squadron Voyager aircraft at RAF Brize Norton experience exceptional comfort, safety, and care. You will act as an ambassador for the RAF, warmly welcoming passengers as they board and disembark, and delivering outstanding service especially attending to any special needs.
Key Duties
- Providing meals and refreshments to passengers during flights
- Conducting demonstrations for emergency equipment and safety protocols
- Maintaining and inspecting all onboard emergency tools to ensure they are fully operational
- Offering first aid and professionally managing emergencies involving passengers or crew
- Upholding the prestigious reputation of the RAF by servicing distinguished passengers with world-class attention
- Administering RAF Houses, supervising hotel amenities, and coordinating seamless logistics for significant events
Entry Criteria
- Minimum academic qualification: GCSE grade G/1 in English Language and Mathematics or Scottish National Level 4 or above in these subjects
- Applicants must be between 17 years 9 months and under 48 years old at attestation
- Compliance with specific nationality and residency stipulations as outlined in the Entry Requirements
- Height requirement: between 161 cm and 195 cm
- Commitment to serve for at least three years following specialist training
- Successful completion of the Defence Aptitude Assessment
- Pass a physical fitness examination
