Quality Inspector

Overview

Bhavya Industries, located in Ludhiana, Punjab, is seeking a diligent Quality Inspector to ensure the highest standards of product quality. This role involves performing thorough inspections at various stages of manufacturing to detect defects and ensure compliance with quality specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on in-process materials, final products, and incoming items to verify adherence to quality standards.
• Employ measuring devices such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges to assess dimensional precision.
• Identify and document any defects, deviations, or non-conformities encountered during inspections.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of inspection results and quality checks.
• Isolate defective products and collaborate with the production team to implement corrective measures.
• Assist the Quality department in proper documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
• Follow established standard operating procedures during all inspection activities.
• Support calibration verification of measuring tools as necessary.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess an ITI qualification.
• Have between 1 to 2 years of experience in quality inspection within manufacturing or mechanical environments.
• Proficient in the practical application of vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Exhibit keen observational skills to accurately detect faults or deviations.
• Have fundamental knowledge of manufacturing workflows and quality benchmarks.
• Capable of maintaining comprehensive and clear inspection documentation.
• Ready to engage in routine shop floor activities integral to the role.

Compensation

The position offers a monthly salary range of INR 15,000 to INR 20,000.
