Role Overview
The Quality Control Inspector at EDGE’s LAHAB facility is responsible for conducting thorough in-process and final inspections aligned with product specifications to ensure compliance and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections on production activities at various stages, from in-process to finished products, following applicable specifications.
- Execute surveillance inspections and testing in accordance with the Quality Plan.
- Document and maintain inspection and testing results, providing reports as necessary.
- Ensure all records are managed in compliance with IMS and departmental procedures.
Health, Safety, and Environmental Duties
- Adhere to occupational safety and health instructions and safe work methods.
- Use proper personal protective equipment and safety systems consistently.
- Understand and be prepared for emergency and evacuation protocols.
- Avoid actions that could jeopardize the health and safety of oneself or others.
- Contribute to risk assessment preparations.
- Report any safety hazards, incidents, or related concerns promptly.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma with solid mathematical proficiency.
- At least three years of experience in mechanical manufacturing quality control, encompassing in-process and final product inspections.
- Knowledgeable about visual inspection standards, technical drawings, and quality agreements.
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025.
- Effective verbal communication abilities.
- Basic skills in report writing and computer literacy, particularly MS Word and MS Excel.
Preferred Additional Qualifications
- Proficiency in verbal and written Arabic communication.
- Experience performing incoming inspections within the defense sector.
