Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role

KalSoft is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist with expertise in the banking domain to join their team in Riyadh Region. The selected individual will spearhead the deployment of quality assurance methodologies, ensuring alignment with established software development protocols, and will foster continuous enhancements throughout the software development life cycle to guarantee superior quality of products and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and apply QA strategies, methodologies, and industry best practices across software products and systems.
• Guarantee adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and quality standards throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
• Oversee compliance with development methodologies such as Agile and DevOps, spanning from requirements gathering to final deployment.
• Analyze business operations and development workflows to identify opportunities for quality improvements.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Test Engineers, Project Managers, and other stakeholders to uphold quality standards.
• Execute quality audits, conduct process reviews, and assess risks and gaps to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
• Compile quality assurance reports, metrics, and compliance documentation for leadership and involved parties.
• Ensure that deliverables and products satisfy approved quality benchmarks and organizational criteria.
• Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives aimed at elevating software quality and operational productivity.
• Fulfill additional quality-related duties as requested.

Candidate Requirements

• Open to candidates of any nationality.
• Possesses 4 to 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Quality Management, or Software Process Improvement.
• Holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• A master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is advantageous.
• Demonstrated prior experience within banking or financial services sectors is essential.
• Deep knowledge of SDLC, Software Quality Assurance, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
• Proven experience implementing quality standards, governance frameworks, and process improvement measures.
• Proficient in conducting quality audits, compliance checks, and process assessments.
• Familiarity with international quality standards like ISO 9001, ISO 20000-1, ITIL, Six Sigma, or equivalent frameworks.
• Professional certifications such as Six Sigma, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), ITIL, ISO 9001, or ISO 20000-1 are highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical capabilities paired with strong communication and stakeholder management talents.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, including report preparation and cross-team collaboration.
