Role Overview

As an Audit Intern at PwC, you will assist in delivering audits that provide clarity and confidence to stakeholders, using a blend of technical skill, transparent communication, and advanced technology. The team services some of New Zealand’s leading organizations across industries, allowing you to gain exposure and mentorship from senior leaders. Your daily tasks will involve analyzing complex financial data, problem-solving, and helping assure high-quality audit outcomes, all while developing independence and ownership over your responsibilities.

Candidate Profile

• Currently pursuing or holding a degree in disciplines such as Accounting, Commerce, Engineering, Computer Science, Psychology, Data Analytics, Management Studies, Mathematics, or Science.
• Possess strong numerical aptitude, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Keen interest in understanding businesses, their financials, and operations.
• Excellent communication skills, confident in client and colleague interactions.
• Proactive learner with a curious mindset and readiness to absorb new knowledge.
• Effective organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Team-oriented approach with strong relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable engaging with technology, data, and AI-driven tools.
• Aspirations to attain professional qualifications such as CA ANZ, CPA, or CFA.
