Role Overview
The Purchasing Administrator will play a pivotal role in supply chain management and procurement operations from Tate's head office in Dublin 10. Working in a team of three, you will manage supplier orders, maintain minimum stock levels, and provide procurement solutions aligned with business needs in a fast-growing environment. Strong communication, problem-solving, and expertise with SAP software are essential to this role which includes internal coordination with departments such as Transport, Warehouse, and Finance to ensure supply chain integrity and compliance.
Key Duties
- Evaluate manufacturing demand and place purchase orders to sustain production needs.
- Coordinate with departments to order overhead goods and services ensuring timely delivery.
- Accurately process purchase requisitions and POs in SAP while adhering to procurement policies.
- Track and follow up on outstanding orders, engaging suppliers to avoid delays.
- Use SAP Management Resource Planning to confirm orders meet On-Time In Full targets.
- Maintain data accuracy within SAP to support reliable business forecasting.
- Manage supplier complaints by liaising with stakeholders to prevent recurrence.
- Perform other duties as assigned, maintaining flexibility beyond the job title.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar procurement or purchasing role.
Skills Required
- Adaptability with the capacity to multitask and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability focused on root cause analysis and solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication to handle complex supplier and internal discussions.
- Collaborative team player with ability to work within diverse groups and departments.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills managing various priorities and deadlines.
