Project Manager

About the Role

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of projects while adhering to predetermined budget constraints, schedules, and scopes. This role includes providing regular updates on project progress to stakeholders, clients, and team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects such as shutdowns, turnarounds, maintenance activities, and small EPC projects from initiation through to close-out.
• Create and maintain project execution plans, schedules, budget estimates, and allocate resources effectively.
• Oversee coordination among engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Mentor and guide project team members in accomplishing assigned tasks.
• Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, company policies, and client requirements.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and on-site teams to fulfill project goals.
• Deliver projects punctually, within budget, and to the defined quality specifications.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector, specifically within project management roles.
• Demonstrated expertise in shutdown and turnaround projects, brownfield modifications, and small to medium EPC projects.
• Familiarity with refinery, petrochemical, LNG, offshore, or gas processing facilities.
• Strong capabilities in project planning, cost management, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience collaborating with major Oil & Gas operators in the GCC region, preferably in Qatar.
• PMP certification is considered advantageous.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management competencies.
