About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee a significant industrial manufacturing operation focused on components for utility-scale wind turbines. This role is based onsite at our warehouse facilities in Windsor or Brighton, Colorado, which support the production and storage of large wind turbine blades. The position is a 1-year contract with a possibility of extension. You will oversee multiple subprojects contributing to a larger $70 million manufacturing program.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage several manufacturing and warehouse subprojects aligned with a larger $70 million initiative.
- Create and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and documentation.
- Collaborate with teams across operations, engineering, warehouse leadership, procurement, and external contractors.
- Monitor project milestones, deliverables, budgets, and timelines to assure successful completion.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project delays.
- Provide consistent status reports to stakeholders and leadership groups.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and meet business goals.
- Promote continuous improvement efforts within manufacturing and warehouse operations.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 10 years of project management experience in industrial manufacturing or warehouse settings.
- Proven track record managing projects ranging from $1 million to $5 million in value.
- Strong skills in coordinating cross-functional teams and handling multiple project streams.
- Experience with budgeting, scheduling, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work onsite in Windsor or Brighton, Colorado.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification is an advantage.
- Background in industrial manufacturing, automotive, defense, oil & gas, marine, or heavy manufacturing industries.
- Experience supporting large capital projects or expansions of manufacturing facilities.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, supply chain, or production environments.
