Project Director

Role Overview

We are in search of a seasoned and visionary Project Director to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multifaceted large-scale projects and strategic programs. This role demands executive-level supervision across multiple project teams to ensure alignment with company goals and timely, budget-conscious, and quality-focused project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end management of complex projects and programs.
• Design and implement project strategies and governance structures.
• Oversee project scopes, scheduling, budgeting, resource distribution, quality assurance, and overall performance monitoring.
• Track project key performance indicators and provide executive reporting with dashboards.
• Evaluate and mitigate project risks, address issues, and manage dependencies.
• Work closely with executive leadership and stakeholders to align initiatives with organizational objectives.
• Manage and prioritize a portfolio of projects according to strategic importance.
• Direct cross-functional teams including vendors, consultants, and external partners.
• Ensure adherence to contracts, regulatory compliance, and company policies.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and standards.
• Support business development, client relations, and proposal generation.
• Handle escalated project challenges and facilitate key executive decisions.
• Coach project managers and nurture high-performing teams.
• Foster communication, collaboration, and engagement among stakeholders.
• Stay updated with emerging project management methods, technologies, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, IT, or related field.
• Master's degree or MBA preferred.
• Professional certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, PgMP, Agile, Scrum, or equivalents are highly valued.
• Deep understanding of project management frameworks, governance, and portfolio oversight.
• Proven experience with extensive, cross-disciplinary, or enterprise-level project management.
• Competence in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, Primavera P6, or similar tools.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
