Project Analyst

Role Overview

The Project Analyst is responsible for independently and objectively assessing projects within PEPS to identify risks, challenges, and provide assurance that projects meet their approved targets regarding scope, schedule, and budget. This role involves offering recommendations to address obstacles and aiming to achieve project business goals. The analyst provides an impartial opinion on project performance and deliverables aligned with QatarEnergy's business objectives and value creation standards via project analysis, reviews, audits, and market intelligence concerning contractors for PEPS projects. Additionally, they facilitate the development of project management best practices communities throughout PEPS.

Experience and Skills Required

• At least twenty years of experience in engineering, project management, and multidiscipline project execution.
• A minimum of ten years in project management leadership roles, preferably as a Project Manager, with demonstrated success in the oil and gas sector.
• Proficient in formulating project execution strategies, establishing project management procedures, HSEQ compliance, and conducting reviews necessary for executing projects in oil and gas and infrastructure sectors.
• Strong interpersonal skills along with leadership and team-building capabilities.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline from a recognized university; advanced degrees are considered a plus.
• Membership in a recognized professional engineering or project management institution is advantageous.
