Production Worker - Load Builder

Job Overview

The Load Builder, also known as Router, is responsible for receiving finished products from various departments and arranging them into designated route carts or bins for delivery or storage. This role may involve additional duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Accept clean, finished products from other departments.
• Interpret written packing guidelines to accurately place the correct quantity and type of products into specific route carts/bins or storage areas.
• Maintain a swift pace to keep up with product flow in the load building zone.
• Move carts and bins into delivery vehicles or assigned locations.
• Report any product shortages to supervisory staff.
• Handle products properly to preserve quality and packaging integrity.
• Consistently achieve efficiency and safety targets relevant to the role.
• Follow supervisory instructions diligently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
• Take on other assigned tasks as necessary.

Additional Duties

• Assist in other production roles as required.

Candidate Qualifications

• Able to identify colors and sizes; accurately count and sort products.
• Inspect and grade products effectively.
• Understand and adhere to written packing instructions.
• Comprehend and execute directions clearly.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk, reach overhead, push, pull, grasp, stoop, and lift up to 25 pounds throughout the work shift.

Work Environment

• Typical production setting of an industrial laundry, with varying temperature, odors, humidity, lint, and dust.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay of $19.17.
