Role Overview

The Supply Chain team at Everlane integrates Product Development, Sourcing, and Sustainability functions while collaborating closely with Design, Merchandising, and Planning to create top-tier products. This role manages the full product development and sourcing workflow, focusing on supplier relationships, cost control, prototype and sample coordination, and on-time delivery, all with a strong dedication to detail, sustainability, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all sample management throughout the supply chain, from initial development stages to final top-of-production and photo shoot samples.
• Track sample receipt and dispatch from factories and mills, ensuring accurate handling of sample shipments at headquarters.
• Maintain precise raw material data across internal systems (WFX, MDD) to support product and material monitoring.
• Assist in issuing and monitoring purchase orders for sample yardage with mills and factories.
• Develop strong collaborations with cross-functional teams including Design, Merchandising, Sustainability, and Quality.
• Manage the creation, revision, and issuance of bulk production purchase orders through the company’s administrative purchasing tools.
• Ensure purchase orders are accurate and delivered timely, verifying details such as size, color, style numbers, costing, delivery dates, and transit planning.
• Communicate effectively with international suppliers and internal teams to coordinate orders and resolve issues.
• Analyze internal reports to detect zero-cost purchase orders, discrepancies in country of origin, missing port information, and delivery date inconsistencies.
• Contribute to special projects, such as updating cost increase or delivery delay tracking charts.

Candidate Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience managing purchase orders, tracking samples, or coordinating product development (internships included).
• Advanced skills in Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables, beneficial for managing cost sheets and delivery schedules.
• Experience with or aptitude to quickly learn PLM/ERP systems like WFX or MDD.
• Strong precision in data entry and order management, with a focus on identifying cost or country of origin inaccuracies.
• Experience communicating directly with international vendors or manufacturing partners.
• Capacity to handle 50 or more purchase orders or samples simultaneously while managing multiple deadlines.

Preferred Additional Experience

• Previous internships or roles in product, supply chain, or fashion sectors.
• Familiarity with product lifecycle management tools such as WFX or MDD.
• Academic or professional background in Fashion, Textiles, or Supply Chain management.

Work Arrangement

This position is based at Everlane’s Creative Studio in Los Angeles’ Arts District. The role requires a hybrid schedule with at least three days per week in the office, specifically Tuesday through Thursday.

Compensation

Compensation is carefully determined based on various factors including candidate experience and location. The hourly pay range for this role is $25 to $36.50, reflective of market conditions in the Los Angeles area.
