Product Designer

About the Role

We are seeking our second Product Designer to lead design initiatives and shape the creative vision for Pogo's innovative consumer insights platform. This tool empowers brands and retailers to engage with millions of verified consumers, and is expected to serve some of the world's largest companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design of core product experiences from initial concept to launch and ongoing refinement for both B2B platform and a consumer app with a user base of 3 million and growing.
• Create polished, user-friendly interfaces that foster trust and highlight the capabilities of our AI-powered data.
• Pay careful attention to details including layout, typography, spacing, color schemes, motion, and interactions.
• Contribute to defining the product roadmap and establish foundational design language, systems, and culture.
• Produce high-quality deliverables efficiently in a fast-moving and often ambiguous startup environment.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and go-to-market teams as one of two designers.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience designing software products, preferably with startup experience or familiarity with AI-driven interfaces.
• Experience with enterprise-grade product design is highly advantageous.
• Skilled in Figma to rapidly create designs and make pragmatic trade-offs balancing vision and speed.
• Dedicated design enthusiast with a strong commitment to high-quality, rigorous, and polished outcomes; constantly seeking inspiration from top designs and designers.
• Integrates large language models like ChatGPT or Claude into design process.
• Relentless about identifying the best solutions, iterating liberally, even discarding previous work to enhance the product.
• Full-stack designer capable of creating experiences from scratch and collaborating cross-functionally with product and engineering teams.
• Strong product intuition focused on simplicity and clarity, open to revising decisions based on user feedback.
