Produce Stocker

Position Overview

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Organize and zone the produce department effectively.
• Rotate inventory and monitor for expired or spoiled products to ensure quality.
• Maintain accurate signage and pricing for all merchandise.
• Comply with cold chain standards, including calibration of thermometers, temperature monitoring, product rotation, and tracking sell-by and expiration dates.
• Adhere strictly to food safety protocols, including proper handling, sanitation, and cleaning practices.
• Follow procedures for inventory activities such as ordering, clearance, price adjustments, labeling, and signage.
• Keep the department fully stocked and ready for customers at all times.
• Observe all health and safety regulations within the workspace.
• Stock new merchandise, manage downstocks when necessary, apply product protection measures, and set up modular shelving including flex modulars and new shelf caps.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $18.70 per hour.

Minimum Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
