This position will be located in several potential cities including Sunnyvale, CA, and is classified as a hybrid role, combining remote work with attendance at the office on designated days as needed by the business.

Position Summary

As the Principal Talent Development Partner in the Global Business Organization (GBO), reporting to the Talent Programs Director, you will design, develop, deliver, and measure talent development initiatives aligned with business priorities. The role requires collaboration with HR Business Partners and various stakeholders to convert business strategies into impactful learning solutions that build key skills and enhance organizational health.

Key Responsibilities

• Attain and sustain a comprehensive understanding of GBO’s business operations and competitive environment.
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with HRBPs and executives to identify business priorities and recommend talent development strategies.
• Analyze and present data insights to influence strategic decision-making.
• Identify program performance gaps and contribute to strategy formulation with defined success metrics.
• Develop and execute communication plans to promote talent development initiatives supporting long-term strategic goals.
• Facilitate learning programs, including delivering to senior-level audiences and creating customized learning experiences as required.
• Collaborate with GBO HRBPs to evaluate global development needs and help formulate a strategic development plan measuring impact and success.

Candidate Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Learning & Development, Human Resources, or related field.
• Over 10 years of professional experience, with at least 7 years dedicated to Learning & Development roles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Extensive background providing L&D expertise and acting as a consulting partner in global organizations.
• Proven leadership of L&D initiatives in fast-paced environments.
• Expertise in designing and delivering learning programs to sophisticated, executive audiences.
• Excellent facilitation and strong program delivery skills.
• Ability to work independently while establishing strong networks.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Experience working across international and multicultural contexts.
• Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and visual.

Compensation and Additional Details

The salary range for this role spans from $148,000 to $240,000 annually, dependent on various factors such as expertise, certifications, and location-related labor costs. Additional forms of compensation may include an annual performance bonus, stock options, benefits, and other incentives.
