The PMO Tooling & Insights Specialist position is based in Auckland and involves applying modern tools, analytics, and emerging AI technologies to enhance project and program delivery.

Role Overview and Key Responsibilities

• Design, set up, administer, and refine Jira and Confluence environments to support project and program execution.
• Create insightful dashboards, reports, and analytics that deliver actionable intelligence for various stakeholders.
• Assist PMOs, project managers, and program leaders by enhancing reporting, governance, and visibility into project progress.
• Streamline work flow across teams to boost delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
• Transform delivery data into straightforward recommendations facilitating better decision-making and risk management.
• Establish and maintain project management tools, templates, workflows, dashboards, and reporting standards.
• Spot and implement opportunities for increased efficiency through automation and workflow optimization using modern tools.
• Collaborate with both client and Deloitte teams to solve complex challenges related to delivery, operations, and information management.
• Contribute to the design and rollout of AI-enabled delivery processes, accelerators, and new working methods.
• Lead proofs of concept and experimental initiatives involving AI, automation, and analytic advancements.
• Enhance data quality, reporting practices, and operational insights in delivery functions.
• Develop internal assets such as intellectual property, accelerators, playbooks, templates, and reusable delivery tools.
• Support business development endeavors, including proposal creation, demonstrations, and client engagement.
• Work across multidisciplinary teams to achieve successful client outcomes.
• Promote the adoption of best-practice tools and methods throughout the team.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience within PMO, project delivery, business operations, reporting, analytics, or related areas.
• Strong skills in Jira and Confluence administration, including configuration and continuous improvement.
• Proven experience in building dashboards, reports, workflows, automations, and governance documentation.
• Good comprehension of project and program delivery fundamentals, such as planning, governance, reporting, risk, issue, dependency, and scope management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to bridge technical and business teams, converting data into practical recommendations.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies and methodologies.
• Experienced in developing trusted relationships in client-facing situations.
• Preferred qualifications include Atlassian certifications and expertise in Jira, Confluence, or Jira Service Management.
• Experience with PMO tools and frameworks, analytics software (Power BI, Atlassian Analytics, EazyBI, Tableau), SQL, Power Platform, automation, and low-code tools is advantageous.
• Background in managing large-scale technology, transformation, or business change initiatives is beneficial.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled delivery, analytics, automation, or knowledge management solutions.
• Consulting or professional services experience is a plus.
