Playwright SDET

Role Overview

• Position is fully remote with a full-time contract spanning 2 years, potentially extending to permanent employment based on performance.
• Work schedule is from 3 PM to 12 AM IST.
• Compensation can be up to 15 lakh INR annually, commensurate with experience.
• Notice period required is under 30 days.
• This is a full-time position, freelancing is not an option.
• Mandatory background verification covering experience, education, and criminal record is required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Playwright automation framework.
• At least 3 years of professional experience using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Over 2 years working knowledge of Page Object Model (POM) design pattern.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in API testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software developers to pinpoint testable features and develop effective testing strategies.
• Interpret test outcomes, identify defects, and monitor them until closure.
• Perform root cause analysis on test failures and issues arising in production.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers promoting automation best practices.
• Assist in test planning, workload estimation, and maintaining quality assurance documentation.
