Job Overview

BigBasket is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Picker / Packer at its warehouse facility in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. This position involves accurately selecting grocery items, securely packing orders, and assisting with loading and unloading tasks to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.

Key Duties

• Accurately select grocery items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders using scanners or handheld devices to confirm correct products and quantities.
• Safely pack items for delivery, ensuring protection and proper labeling corresponding to delivery routes.
• Prepare packed orders for shipment within designated time frames.
• Assist in loading packed orders onto delivery vehicles and unloading stock from incoming trucks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of order picking and stock handling.
• Experience or ability to conduct packaging, sorting, and stock taking activities.
• Completion of at least 10th grade education or higher.
• Suitable for freshers with no prior experience.
• Age between 18 and 35 years generally accepted.

Salary and Benefits

The salary package varies based on location and performance, including:

• Basic salary starting from INR 16,400 after deductions.
• Night shift allowance of INR 1,000.
• Attendance bonus of INR 2,500.
• Performance-based bonuses ranging between INR 3,000 and INR 10,000.
• Total salary ranges between INR 16,500 and INR 28,500 depending on shifts and incentives.
• Specific packages in financial district areas ranging from INR 16,500 to INR 18,500 plus bonuses and allowances.
• In Kothaguda and Kokapet areas, basic salary starts at INR 20,000 plus incentives.

Working Hours

• Shifts are rotational or fixed, including Shift B (2 pm to 11 pm) and Shift C (10 pm to 7 am).
• During training, general shift timings apply.
