Role Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and skilled Photographer / Studio Coordinator to join our team at the heart of our agency's headquarters located in Manchester's Northern Quarter. You will report directly to the Agency Director and play a vital role in supporting our fashion model operations, creative representation, and managing studio facilities within a busy creative environment.
About the Company
Our agency specialises in scouting, recruiting, and developing fashion models, providing talent to both UK and international markets. We also represent creatives and casting artists and adhere strictly to the standards set by the British Fashion Model Agents Association (BFMA), affiliated with the British Fashion Council (BFC). Our HQ is a carbon-neutral 6,000 sq ft warehouse with three fully equipped studio spaces available for hire.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture numerous digital photographs to regularly update model profiles, presenting natural and engaging images for web and client use.
- Create candid and dynamic video content (similar to TikTok style) to showcase models' personalities and talents for online profiles.
- Manage an extensive image library across all agency divisions, handling reception, editing, resizing, cropping, retouching, and storing images in organized archives.
- Daily upload and quality control of images on the agency's website and database.
- Design digital model cards and PDFs using InDesign templates.
- Assist new models through workshops focused on posing, movement, and engaging with the camera.
- Oversee daily studio operations ensuring efficiency and profitability, including purchasing supplies and staffing coordination.
- Drive sales and marketing efforts to meet targets, utilizing provided marketing resources.
- Manage, maintain, and organise all studio photographic equipment, ensuring perpetual readiness and neat studio spaces.
- Perform opening and closing duties such as securing the building, preparing the studios, cleaning, and waste disposal.
- Produce compelling social media content that highlights studio facilities, behind-the-scenes activities, productions, and events in line with brand and marketing strategies.
Candidate Profile and Skills
Applicants should have solid experience in photography and studio lighting with proficient use of CaptureOne, Photoshop, and InDesign. The role demands a flexible, problem-solving attitude with the ability to handle multiple priorities calmly and efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with knowledge of social media platforms to aid marketing efforts.

Additional Information
- Employment is full-time, onsite at the Manchester HQ with core hours from 9am to 6pm including a one-hour lunch break; some flexibility is possible after settling into the role.
- Annual salary is £27,500 with a 3% pension contribution.
