Role Purpose
The Pharmacy Technician will be an integral member of the dispensary team, supporting the pharmacist in delivering quality care by dispensing prescriptions and providing advice to patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately under pharmacist supervision
- Manage stock levels by ordering and controlling inventory
- Prepare blister packs for patients as required
- Monitor and track reimbursement claims related to dispensed medicines
Required Skills and Experience
- Completion of a pharmacy technician course or at least two years of relevant work experience as a pharmacy technician
- Certification or training in Over The Counter (OTC) Medicine
- Previous experience working in a pharmacy dispensary environment
- Excellent communication abilities
- A friendly, hardworking nature and the capacity to work effectively within a team-focused pharmacy setting
Terms and Conditions
- Full-time position requiring work Monday through Saturday, with alternate Saturdays off
- Working hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 to 18:30, Saturday 09:00 to 18:00
