About the Role
At Carinity – Cedarbrook, our goal is to deliver compassionate and person-centred aged care that empowers residents to live with dignity, comfort, and meaningful connection. Personal Carers operate under the guidance of registered staff, addressing individual resident care requirements with a holistic approach. They ensure a high quality of life within a warm, home-like setting, emphasizing respect for elderly independence and dignity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with various daily activities including personal hygiene, clothing care, room cleanliness, and dining support.
- Engage residents in social interactions, lifestyle interests, and reminiscence activities to foster companionship and comfort.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective and individualized care.
Requirements
- Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (Ageing), or equivalent qualifications and experience.
- At least six months of experience in aged care or a similar care role.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and full Australian work rights.
- Ability and willingness to work as part of a team within a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Applicants must be 18 years or older due to legislative requirements.
Employment Details
- Multiple fixed term positions are available to cover parental leave requirements.
- Positions include both part-time and full-time hours, ranging from 16 to 76 hours per fortnight across morning and afternoon shifts.
