Role Overview
The Partner Onboarding Specialist plays a pivotal internal operational role within the External Partnerships team, closely working with the Senior Onboarding Supervisor. This position is responsible for maintaining momentum during partner launch phases, managing cross-team coordination, and ensuring the Onboarding Associate’s tasks remain prioritized and unimpeded. The role focuses on operational logistics without managing direct external partner relationships, thereby freeing senior team members to focus on strategic growth and overarching program management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily onboarding logistics such as setting up locations, verifying rate card accuracy, uploading zip codes, configuring stores, and coordinating training for new or expanding partners
- Organize and schedule live and recorded training sessions for new partner locations through Google Meet
- Maintain and update partner information within internal databases as partner configurations evolve
- Monitor post-launch activities and highlight issues that require escalation
- Keep track of open tasks involving Customer Service, Product, Data, Localization, and Task Logistics teams to ensure timely completion
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to represent the Partnerships team operations standpoint
- Oversee multiple Slack channels including those involving partners and internal teams, handling support requests and routing them appropriately
- Monitor new partner launch performance across various platforms and flag any emerging issues during the critical launch window
- Maintain accuracy of partner data within Confluence and update onboarding materials, checklists, and related documentation
- Assist the Onboarding Associate with organization and timeline adherence
- Identify process inefficiencies and alert the Senior Onboarding Supervisor
- Help prepare for significant, cross-departmental launch readiness reviews
Candidate Qualifications
- Between one and three years’ experience in operations, project coordination, account management, or related domains
- Exceptional organizational ability to juggle multiple workflows and deadlines
- Strong communication skills with clarity and confidence in asynchronous channels like Slack and email
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams with differing priorities
- Meticulous attention to detail with a preference for documenting and optimizing processes
- Self-motivated work ethic with follow-through on tasks and proactive issue identification
- Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, Slack, and Asana is advantageous
- Experience or knowledge of marketplace platforms, gig economy operations, or B2B partner onboarding is preferred
- Comfortable facilitating live or asynchronous training sessions
- Exposure to AI tools for enhancing documentation and communication efficiency is a plus

Success Metrics
- Within 30 days: Full onboarding with independent navigation of tools and supporting a launch with minimal assistance
- Within 60 days: Independently handling channel triage, cross-team coordination, and effectively supporting the Onboarding Associate
- Within 90 days: Successfully managing end-to-end partner launches, monitoring hypercare phases, identifying process gaps, and enabling senior team members to concentrate on strategic activities
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this full-time position is between $89,000 and $119,000 annually, representing base pay exclusive of bonuses and other benefits. Final compensation will depend on experience and location. Taskrabbit offers a hybrid work environment emphasizing flexibility with regular in-person interactions.
