Position Overview

The Over-the-Counter Associate plays a crucial role in assisting customers and ensuring optimal presentation and management of their designated departmental area. This role supports the department and pharmacy managers by executing a variety of assigned duties while upholding excellent customer service in alignment with Walmart's core values and principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Protect customer privacy by strictly adhering to confidentiality guidelines and complying with relevant privacy legislation.
• Drive sales and profitability in the department under the guidance of the Pharmacy Manager.
• Manage inventory by regularly rotating stock and verifying product expiry dates.
• Maintain organized zoning within the department to ensure a clean and efficient work environment.
• Follow established protocols related to ordering products, managing clearances, handling markups and markdowns, and ensuring accurate price labeling.
• Keep the work area neat, free from clutter, unnecessary items, any foreign materials, and liquids to maintain safety and order.
• Enforce zero pricing errors by adhering to the Scanning Credibility Program standards.
• Perform calibration on equipment involved in the prescription filling process to ensure accuracy.

Additional Information

The starting hourly wage for this position is $17.75.
The workplace is located at 1280 Fanshawe Pk Rd W, London, ON N6G 5B1, Canada.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement is 16 years or older.
