Operator - FIFO

The Opportunity

PHE Group is actively looking for a safety-first and quality-focused Operator to become part of their team on a 2 weeks on, 1 week off FIFO roster. This role includes benefits such as flights, accommodation, and meal allowances provided by the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate various plant and heavy equipment including telehandlers, forklifts, elevated work platforms (EWPs), scissor lifts, and tilt trays.
• Carry out pre-start inspections and adhere to operational procedures to maintain safe, efficient, and compliant plant operations.
• Safely and accurately load, transport, and handle materials.
• Support site setup, cleanup, and general laboring duties as needed.
• Assist tradespeople with their daily tasks.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in underground mining environments.
• Proficient in operating telehandlers.
• Skilled in driving heavy rigid (HR) trucks, such as tilt trays or similar vehicles.
• Strong commitment to upholding a safety-oriented work culture.
• Demonstrates flexibility in working with diverse teams.
• Capable of passing full medical and fitness assessments.

Mandatory Qualifications and Licenses

• Holder of a high-risk work license with WP class certification.
• Possession of a Telehandler Gold Card.
• High-risk work license with CN class is desirable.
• Completed Working at Heights certification within the last 18 months.
• Current heavy rigid (HR) class driver’s license.
• Possession of a White or Blue Construction Card.
