About the Role
Located in Alexandria, NSW, this full-time, permanent position offers an annual salary range of $117,487 to $131,845 plus superannuation. As an Operations Team Leader, you will oversee daily operational management of a recreation centre and associated sports facilities, including synthetic sports fields and an outdoor court, ensuring excellent service delivery to the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site leadership and supervision to a frontline team, fostering development and high performance.
- Manage day-to-day operational workflows to maintain quality service and facility standards.
- Respond promptly and effectively to any incidents and ensure appropriate safety compliance.
- Uphold facility presentation to a high standard and coordinate maintenance activities.
- Maintain strong relationships with facility users, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to service improvements, assist in precinct-wide planning, scheduling, and reporting.
- Support the readiness and operational delivery of programs, events, and community activations.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience supervising daily operations in recreation, leisure, or community facilities.
- Demonstrated leadership capability in managing frontline teams delivering superior service.
- Strong operational and financial management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in driving service enhancements and operational planning.
- Flexibility to work varied hours including weekdays, weekends, and evenings.
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment health declaration, medical exam, criminal background check, and working with children verification.
