Role summary

Lineage is hiring an experienced Operations Supervisor for its Mosgiel facility in New Zealand. This is a full-time afternoon-shift position where you will oversee daily warehouse operations, support service delivery to customers, and lead a team of up to 12 to 15 people.

Shift details

The afternoon shift starts at 3:30 pm during the peak season from September to May, and at 1:30 pm during the winter period.

Key duties

• Lead and coordinate warehouse operatives so work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
• Review and improve warehouse flow and operating processes to lift productivity and performance.
• Spot opportunities for process improvement and put changes in place to strengthen efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Make sure all work follows applicable health, safety, and environmental rules.
• Prepare regular reports and share performance updates with senior leadership.
• Promote a collaborative, positive, and safety-first workplace culture.
• Support the training and growth of warehouse team members.

Candidate profile

The ideal applicant will bring at least 3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse or logistics operations. You should understand warehouse management systems and inventory control, and be comfortable handling operational issues through sound problem-solving and decision-making. Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities are important, along with a practical approach to continuous improvement and working well with others.
