Role Overview
This position supports the stock controller and ensures smooth execution of operational processes within the Bicester outlet store. The Operations Assistant will assist in both front and back of house functions with proficient computer, POS system, and administrative skills to uphold company standards throughout daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and be fully skilled with the till system: setting up, maintaining during the day, and closing tills as required.
- Handle administrative tasks related to consignments, inter-store transfers, and stock-related processes.
- Collaborate with the stock controller to manage end-of-season returns, deliveries, and organizing stock efficiently.
- Oversee customer repair and aftersales processes including client communication and logistical coordination.
- Monitor and respond promptly to store email inbox communications.
- Assist in omnichannel operations linked to Armani.com in liaison with the stock controller.
- Maintain product knowledge and manage licensed product categories such as sunglasses, watches, and jewelry.
- Ensure continuous availability of supplies such as packaging materials, perfumes, testers, and licensed merchandise at the sales desk.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across stock rooms and store areas including the cash desk.
- Understand best practices for storage and management of inventory in stock rooms to uphold organizational standards.

- Proficient computer skills with experience using integrated retail systems.
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities combined with a responsible approach.
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and operational standards both front and back of store.
- Retail experience is required.
- Comprehensive understanding of till operations, banking, cash management, and associated procedures.
- Experience managing inventory shrinkage in order to meet store standards.
