Overview

This role involves managing service and repair quotations, supplier negotiations, and financial oversight within a collaborative team environment. The role requires commercial awareness, a detail-oriented approach, and strong communication skills to support both client and supplier interactions effectively. The Operations Administrator works closely with the senior management team to enhance service quality and profitability while handling machinery orders and project stock management.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing and managing service work quotations
Quoting for additional services, repairs, and equipment hire
Generating sales quotes with accuracy and commercial insight
Negotiating terms and prices with suppliers to optimize costs
Researching and sourcing correct parts and supplier prices to achieve the best financial outcome
Coordinating with engineers regarding work details, time scheduling, and parts needs
Overseeing machinery orders, tracking deliveries, and managing project stock levels

Strong commercial acumen and financial understanding, especially related to profit and cost mark-ups
Exceptional attention to detail and clear communication skills
Capability to think ahead and resolve challenging situations effectively

Additional Information

This position offers substantial opportunities for growth and development within the company. The working schedule is Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 17:00, with a one-hour lunch break. The compensation package is competitive and tailored based on experience and industry knowledge.
