Office Housekeeper & Community Space Host

About the Role

Blackwave GmbH is a leading aerospace company focused on developing and producing high-performance pressure vessels and complex carbon structures. We are seeking an Office Housekeeper & Community Space Host for our Taufkirchen, Bavaria location. This role is crucial for maintaining a welcoming and functional community space, which serves as a hub for team recharge, guest impressions, and company culture. You will be responsible for ensuring the space is impeccably clean, well-stocked, and provides a positive experience for all team members and visitors. This is a hands-on position with significant autonomy and impact, contributing to our innovative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the community space to an impeccable standard through daily cleaning of kitchen areas, surfaces, appliances, and communal zones.
• Ensure the coffee machine is serviced, dishwashers are managed, and the entire space consistently looks and feels exceptional.
• Welcome guests and team members with genuine hospitality, ensuring coffee, drinks, and snacks are prepared proactively.
• Manage supplies and inventory for the community space, including coffee, beverages, snacks, and cleaning products, ensuring proactive ordering and restocking.
• Proactively identify and address any issues such as equipment malfunctions, low stock, or broken appliances, escalating and resolving them promptly.
• Contribute to the atmosphere of the space through thoughtful touches, such as seasonal decorations and well-arranged snack stations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in housekeeping, hotel services, café/restaurant operations, corporate catering, or a similar hands-on service role.
• A natural inclination for hospitality, with a warm, service-oriented, and proactive approach.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining professional espresso machines (e.g., La Marzocco, Jura) and commercial dishwashers, with the ability to identify and report issues.
• Experience in managing inventory and stock levels, ensuring essential items are always available.
• Demonstrated reliability, ownership, and a commitment to maintaining high standards without direct supervision.
• Must be able to work 100% onsite in Taufkirchen, 5 days a week, full-time, ideally starting before 8 AM.
• Proficiency in German (B2-C1 level) for daily communication with the team and suppliers, and a minimum of B2 level English for interacting with international guests.
• Barista training or specialty coffee experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with basic food hygiene and HACCP principles is a plus.
• Previous experience in a hotel, airline lounge, or private members' club environment is desirable.
