Network Engineer

Job Overview

This role entails overseeing and supporting network changes and operations for data centers in Singapore and Hong Kong. You will manage network and solution delivery across the Asia region as well as lead assigned regional network projects to successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Oversee network change management and operational support for data centers located in Singapore and Hong Kong.
• Manage the Asia Regional Network and ensure effective solution delivery.
• Lead and implement assigned regional network projects, ensuring their successful deployment and operation.
• Provide operational support for customer Wide Area Networks (WAN) and Local Area Networks (LAN).
• Offer technical assistance in Layer 3, Layer 4 networking, and security aspects.
• Administer networks that handle data, voice, and video communication.
• Manage projects which include internal process coordination.

Requirements

• A degree in Information Technology, Network Administration, or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum of two years’ professional experience in network engineering, including project and operations support.
• Direct experience performing network operations and participating in networking projects.
• Proficient working knowledge of network hardware such as switches, routers, wireless equipment, firewalls, VPNs, and Quality of Service (QoS) implementations.
• Strong understanding of network architecture design and implementation.
• Experience with ISP network planning and system installation.
• Familiarity with data center operations and customer technical service support.
• Knowledgeable in system monitoring tools and backup solutions.
• Availability for business travel within the Asia Pacific region and on-site support as needed.
• A motivated self-starter with a commitment to continuous learning and contributing to long-term organizational success.
• This position requires working fully on-site at the office located in Tai Seng Avenue, Singapore.
