About the Role

Juniper is looking for dependable and compassionate Multiskilled Domestic Team Members to join the team at Hayloft, a residential aged care home in Bentley. This practical, resident-centred position involves rotating through cleaning, laundry, and catering tasks to help maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment.

You will work alongside care and hospitality staff to uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards, support meal preparation and service, and contribute to residents’ comfort, dignity, and overall wellbeing. The ideal candidate must be available for at least three shifts each week.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and tidy resident rooms and shared areas by vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting high-contact surfaces.
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, ironing, and returning both personal and facility linen while following infection control practices.
• Support food service by helping prepare and serve meals, setting tables, and ensuring resident dietary requirements are met.
• Collaborate with care and hospitality teams to help residents feel respected, supported, and at home.
• Follow workplace health and safety requirements and infection control procedures consistently.

Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning, catering, and laundry work, preferably in aged care or healthcare.
• Understanding of hygiene standards, food safety, and infection prevention is desirable.
• A Food Handling Certificate, or a willingness to obtain one, is preferred.
• A genuine commitment to supporting older people with dignity and comfort.
• Good physical fitness to manage the demands of the role.
• Flexibility to work across cleaning, laundry, and catering tasks as needed.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with residents and coworkers.

What’s on Offer

The role offers hourly pay of $31.33, plus 12% superannuation and salary packaging of up to $18,550 per year tax free.
